This partnership with twitter, enables the #amazonbasket hashtag (within the UK). Basically by replying to a tweet that contains an amazon product link with that hashtag it will add the product to your basket when you get onto the website.

The positive here is that by using this it won’t actually process the order and send you the goods, that would be a minefield. We’ve got to wonder whether this is just a gimmick to help boost share prices after losses are reported at Twitter this quarter?
