Growing company, Portcullis Site Services noticed that their day to day business activities were beginning to generate a considerable amount of paperwork. In a bid to reduce their carbon footprint and become more considerate to the environment, they identified a number of business processes that could be digitised.
In digitising certain parts of the business process, they were able to reduce their hard-copy paperwork significantly, and increase employee productivity. Users now fill out simplified reports, and record sign-off authorisation via a mobile/tablet device, while at their customer’s premises.
For the management team, this process adjustment has being invaluable, as it allows them to instantly access reports on any work undertaken, and to schedule necessary followups immediately after the initial work has taken place.ย
Following the successes of the initial project, Portcullis Site Services have identified a number of other business processes that could be digitised, and implemented these within the bespoke web application.
