ITV have launched a brand new look and feel to its brand by incorporating a new logo. The changes have seen the 1 being dropped and the case changed from upper to lower as well as incorporating a joined up handwriting style featuring bursts of colour.

It is itended that the logo’s colouring will change to reflect the programs, features and channels being advertised.

Itv2, itv3, itv4 and Citv have all undergone transformation as part of the rebrand.

The logo has had mixed reactions with many claiming the logo looks childlike, and more suitable for a channel such as Citv.

In some instances that have been advertised, the logo is hard to see as it utilises colour aspects from the main feature, giving it an almost a transparent appearance, and in some cases, so much so, that the logo isn’t even visible.
