A recent study has found that the 2 most popular times for ordering takeaway online is 7pm and 2am

The trends for ordering food online isn’t really surprising, 7pm is when many children are in bed and parents can sit down, relax and think about their next meal. 2am is a more popular time for the party animals, who on their way home from a night at the pub, realise they need something to soak up the alochol!

Ordering food online has never been easier, and with the various apps available, its now so easy to pick up your phone and at the click of a button have ordered yourself something, and in most cases you don’t even have to enter your card details, as these are already stored within the application.

Dr Stevenson, a researcher states “All organisms have strategies to locate and consume nutrients and food necessary for survival. That primeval hunting instinct has now moved to late-night searching on the wide plains of the internet. Not so much hunting and gathering, as hunting and Googling.”
