Today marks the 30th anniversary of the World Wide Web (www). The World Wide Web is an information system where resources can be identified via URL and accessed over the internet via a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome.
Submitted as a proposal on this day by English scientist Tim Berners-Lee, the World Wide Web is now used by billions of people every single day across the globe – what an invention!
