Internet star “Grumpy Cat”, who has an estimated fortune of over $100million, has passed away this week on Tuesday May the 14th. The cat shot to fame back in September 2012 after photos of the cat, with dwarfism and an underbite, were uploaded to the internet. Thousands began creating meme’s of the cat which were shared across the globe and are still very popular even today.
In 2013 fans in their thousands queued to meet and take selfies with the cat at a festival in Texas.
Heartbroken fans have flocked to social media to offer owner, Tabatha Bundesen, their condolences.
