The new app allows users to create avatars which they can then use in preset cartoons to describe what they are up to or how they are feeling, users can also select “co-stars” who can also feature in the comic strip. The app then allows the direct upload of these images to Facebook.

Many have expressed their views on the Bitstrip photos, with most stating that they are annoying and cluttering up their timeline with pointless pictures, however the app remains popular with Facebook users who are frequently posting using the new app.

How to disable Bitstrips from your newsfeed on Facebook

As the image shows below simply click on the small downwards pointing arrow next to the Bitstrip cartoon and select the option to hide all from Bitstrips, this will mean that all comics uploaded direct from the app, will no longer appear in your newsfeed.
